Island Grand and RumFish Beach are two neighboring beachfront hotels set on the sugar white sands of award-winning St. Pete Beach, Florida. Island Grand at TradeWinds offers a thrilling island adventure, while RumFish Beach at TradeWinds offers an inspiring aquatic experience. No matter which hotel you choose, you can enjoy all the activities, recreation and restaurants at BOTH hotels.

RumFish Beach is nestled on 12 beachfront acres, while Island Grand occupies the other 28 acres. Combined, TradeWinds Resort spans 40 beachfront acres on the Gulf Coast's St. Pete Beach.

TradeWinds offers a variety of amenities and free activities included in the Resort Amenity Fee. TradeWinds also has value-packed room packages that gives you activities, food and beverage vouchers and more, all included in the package price.

Tampa International Airport is 30 miles away, via Interstate 275. St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport is 21 miles away, via Interstate 275. TradeWinds is conveniently located just 10 minutes off I-275.

TradeWinds Resort is 45 minutes from Busch Gardens Tampa.

Yes, both Island Grand and RumFish Beach are pet-friendly. Please check the PET POLICY page for details. Be sure to note that you are bringing a pet during time of booking. A $75 per night pet fee will be added to the room. A maximum of 2 pets per room, up to 80 pounds each. Dogs only.

Self-parking is available at a charge of $25 per night. There is no additional parking available on holidays. Visitor Parking, Parking for buses, RVs, and trailers is based on availability and at an additional cost. Please contact Resort Security at 727.239.9645 in advance to make arrangements for these vehicles.

Yes, we accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover and traveler's checks. Personal checks or cash are not accepted. Proper ID is required for all transactions.

No, we are a cashless property. Moving to a cashless format provides more streamlined efficiencies and also addresses safety and hygiene concerns for both guests and employees.

Yes. TradeWinds offers 14 restaurant and grab-and-go outlets, from award-winning cuisine at Palm Court Italian, to the extraordinary RumFish Grill, and casual beach dining at Gulfside Kitchen. You'll be sure to find a restaurant that suits every discriminating taste.

While there is little demand for connecting rooms as TradeWinds offers a number of one-bedroom villas that sleep up to six people, some hotel rooms can connect to one-bedroom villas, making them a villa with two or three bedrooms. However, no hotel rooms connect to regular hotel rooms.

Each room includes a new 37" flat-screen TV with premium cable and in-room movies.

The bathrooms have soaps, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers and high-quality linens.

Yes, there is a programmable safe in every room, which can fit up to a normal-sized laptop computer.

Yes, there are laundry facilities on-site at both hotels.

Each room has a smoke detector that is wired into the fire alarm system. All of the public areas have smoke detectors or pull-alarm devices in the unlikely event of an emergency. TradeWinds Resort also has 24-hour security.

Yes, there is Wi-Fi service throughout the property and it is included in the daily Resort Amenity Fee.

Guests at TradeWinds Resort can play at both hotels (Island Grand and RumFish Beach) during their stay, creating countless adventures for every age. In fact, a whole section of our website is dedicated to TradeWinds’ many activities and recreation.

Yes, some activities can be booked ahead of time, and in fact, with our popular activities, we encourage reservations to ensure availability. As you explore this website, look for callouts that allow you to book your adventures early. Reservation instructions vary based on activities. You can also visit the hotel concierge, who can help you book adventures in advance.

Body Works Spa is located at RumFish Beach, just a short walk down the beach from Island Grand. Guests at both properties may enjoy the services at the spa.

Room service is not available, but we offer Express To-Go ordering at Flying Bridge, Gulfside Kitchen and Pizza Hut Express - where guests can order online and pick up. More online ordering options will be coming soon!

Yes. The Shop at RumFish Grill, a 2,200-square-foot retail shop located inside the RumFish Grill restaurant, has the area's largest selection of merchandise, art and gifts from local Florida brands and artists.
