Extra Values at TradeWinds

Many incidental and a la carte charges have been eliminated and those amenities are now included in the required nightly resort amenity fee. The fee covers cushioned beach cabanas, fitness center use, parking, and guest room wireless internet access. Also covered are services at the Island Grand including paddleboats along the meandering waterway, tennis court times, and day play for volleyball and mini-golf. Of course, daily newspaper delivery, in-room safes and pool towels are included with your TradeWinds stay.

Activities

Seasonally you’ll find activities like poolside bingo and card games at Sandpiper, and there’s never a shortage of fun things happening down at Island Grand, including Captain RedBeard pirate shows, the KONK Club, crafts and more. Check the calendar for a full list.

At TradeWinds Sandpiper, you’ll enjoy casual poolside meals at Piper’s Patio, tropical drinks at the Sand Bar, or breakfast on the go at Perks Up. For a night of hilarity, check out Coconuts Comedy Club. Of course you are welcome at the large array of restaurants and bars at Island Grand as well.

Sandpiper features two heated pools including one beach front, and one in the courtyard reserved for the peaceful enjoyment of adults, along with a whirlpool.

Our Florida location allows for a wide range of recreational activities. Head to the beach for a wake up jog or morning swim along shore, or hit the fitness center for a workout. Kick back in a cabana or hammock and sip your favorite beverage, or simply enjoy a leisurely moonlit stroll under the stars. For more action, Island Grand is a short walk on the beach for tennis, paddleboats, volleyball or mini golf. Waverunners, banana boat rides and parasailing are also available. The choices are limitless.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in Sandpiper. Only select suites at the Island Grand accommodate pets. Learn more about our pet policy.

Room Amenities

The wide range of our guest accommodations offer many of the conveniences of home. In each you’ll find high-speed internet access, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, TV with premium channels, makeup mirror and hairdryer, phone with voicemail and much more. All accommodations are non-smoking.

Your fitness regimen doesn’t need to take a break just because you are. The fitness center is available for guests 18 and over (or 16 and over when accompanied by an adult) and includes treadmills, bikes, elliptical trainers, Nautilus circuit machines, free weights and more. After a great workout, pamper yourself with a massage, skin care treatment, spa services and more at Body Works Salon located at Island Grand.

Shop for casual resort wear, pick up sunscreen and beach necessities, or stock up on snacks and sundries at Island Outpost. A number of boutiques and souvenir shops are close by and at Island Grand.
