St. Pete Pet Friendly Hotels

It’s not a true family vacation unless everyone in the family can come along – even the furry ones. That’s why at TradeWinds Island Grand, we proudly offer 48 “pet friendly” suites and set up a Pet Play Zone just steps from these rooms. The play zone is a secure, leash-free area complete with doggie drinking fountain, fire hydrants, photo op display, grass and shade to pamper your pet.

A designated dog walking zone meanders along our waterway, complete with a hammock that you can enjoy with Fido. There’s even a Doggie Accessory Center with bowls, leashes, toys and towels, a rinse and drying station, as well as the Paw Court Bistro menu for delectable treats delivered right to your door. 

Up to two dogs or cats under 80 pounds are welcome at a nightly fee. We suggest reserving one of our pet-friendly suites in advance, as they tend to fill up quickly, and be sure to check the policy for required paperwork. Pets must also stay within the designated pet-friendly areas. While city ordinance does not allow animals on St. Pete Beach, the world-class beach at Ft. DeSoto Park just 10 minutes away has two dog-friendly areas.
