Introducing TradeWinds Island Resorts pet-friendly accommodations and amenities: vacationing with your pet has never been better.For years we at TradeWinds Island Resorts have provided the very best accommodations and amenities for our human guests. Now, in response to a growing number of requests by travelers and their pets, Island Grand proudly announces an exciting array of pet-friendly accommodations and amenities, set to begin June 1st. Unlike many hotels and resorts that merely allow pets, at Island Grand we are pleased to truly welcome animal friends to our facilities. Thanks to our new services, pets aren't just along for the ride but can experience a fun and relaxing St. Pete Beach vacation right along with their human companions. To start, Island Grand has designated 48 pet-friendly suites in the Allamanda building. For a fee of $30 a night, up to two pets are allowed per room, with a maximum weight limit of 80 pounds per pet. With their Allamanda room keys, guests staying in pet-friendly suites have access to our Doggie Accessory Center, where canines and their companions can choose from a variety of dishes, leashes, toys, and towels for use during the furry friend's stay. 
Pets and their owners are also bound to get excited about the all-new Pet Play Zone, conveniently located adjacent to the Allamanda building. The area features doggie drinking fountains, umbrellas for shade, benches, a doggie rinse and drying station with towels, an owner sitting area, fire hydrants, and more. Pets are free to enjoy some R&R or playtime unleashed in the Pet Play Zone, and thanks to a double gated entrance, access in and out of the park is safe and easy. We have also created a special dog walking zone along the resort's meandering waterways and beachfront dunes. The path even skirts by a hammock, perfect for some snooze time for people and pooches alike. There are also pet clean-up stations stocked with clean-up baggies and waste disposals throughout the property. After a day filled with exciting adventures at the beach, the Pet Play Zone, and around St. Pete Beach, pets are sure to enjoy some extra-special dining options. That is why we are pleased to offer our guests a new pet-only room service menu, including specialty meats, gourmet dog and cat food, and special treat packs perfect for pets on the go.
