Pet-Friendly Accommodations and Amenities

At the Island Grand we have 48 designated pet-friendly suites in our Allamanda building. We make sure that both you and your furry friend can enjoy the "just let go" experience together.

Both cats and dogs are welcome, as long as they are 80 lbs and under. Up to two pets can be in each room for a nightly fee of $30. Please click below to read and print important pet policies.

Our Pet Play Zone is right next to our pet-friendly suites. This secure, leash-free area is the perfect place for your pet to let loose. Complete with a doggie drinking fountain, rinse and drying station, fire hydrants, grassy area, and plenty of shade, it'll be tough trying to get Fido to leave.

A special dog walking zone runs along our meandering waterway and beachfront dune. There's even a hammock that's perfect for those afternoon cat naps ...er, dog naps. Forget something? Bowl, leash, towel, toys? No worries! You can access our Doggie Accessory Center with your room key for all the essentials.

And if your pup is longing to get in the water, Ft. DeSoto Park is nearby with a dog beach and dog play area. After a long day of fun, when your pup's food alarm goes off, he can pick from a variety of dishes off the Paw Court Bistro room service menu. Don't worry cat lovers, we have something for kitties too!

For a true getaway experience, ask about our Fido's Fabulous Adventure package. For a 3 day, 2 night package we include our nightly pet fee, Bow Wow WOW bag stuffed with treats and toys, TradeWinds signature bandana, and fabulous extras for you including hooded beach cabana, access to fitness centers, tennis courts, paddleboats, mini-golf, wireless internet, and more.
